We've all been there before, we're feeling so blue it's starting to affect our life. Now, there are couple ways to improve your mood, and here we'll give you 7 simple things you can do to help you get better.


1. Spend Your Time With Sympathetic Friends
By spending your time, means talking to others about your feelings. Don't be afraid to tell people about this, because talking will help you to process your problem, you can even get advice and support. However, if you feel uncomfortable talking to friends, you can always try phone a help line. Or, if you prefer not to talk at all, just spend your time with them and doing things together, that will help to lift your mood too

2. Do Things You Enjoy
Read your favorite book, go shopping, prepare a meal, play video games, anything that gets you out and takes your mind off negative thoughts is likely to make things better. Do this even if they no longer seem appealing.

3. Go Out
Yes, it's simple; yet hard to do. Go out, even if you only do this to buy milk, or anything. The reason is bright daylight, and fresh air can be all very helpful. Try 20 minutes of walking around neighborhood

4. Stay Away From Negative Thoughts
Make a list of all the positive things about yourself and read it several times a day. You can always try to make a list of gratitude, good things that happened to your life, even for the simplest thing. Such as good weather, the TV is on, etc. Just remember that you have not always felt negative, and will not always feel this way. 

5. Move At Your Own Pace
You can't get instant result in mood improvements. You may even get worse before start getting better. Bad days that come after several good days may seem all the worse for it. Don’t blame yourself for the bad days, and don’t despair.

6. Be Realistic
Break down large tasks into smaller chunks. Always try to reduce your stress level. Don't blame yourself because you're not doing anything, you are giving yourself the time and space that you need to get better.

7. In Case of Emergency
When you are overwhelmed by negative or suicidal thoughts, it's always a good idea to have backup case when you can't reach your main support. This may be a relative, doctor, or help line.
