Pancakes! It's easy to make, it's delicious, it doesn't take long and the good news is it can be healthy too! For this recipe, we'll use the old-fashioned oat as a replacement for standard flour, oh did I mention that it only has about 250 calories?
● Ingredients ●
- 1/3 Cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal
- 1 Egg
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
- Maple Syrup (optional)
● How to Make ●
- Combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth in blender or food processor.
- Set the heat to medium low, and melt a small piece of butter.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into your pan.
- When you see bubbles, and the sides look set, flip over
- Top the pancakes with maple syrup, or berries.
